Strategy Senior Consultant

As a senior consultant in our Strategy practice, you will partner with our largest clients to define and enable strategies that leverage the power of business, technology, and operations. You will help shape, sell, and activate industry-specific programs, including defining business vision & strategies, redefining the operating model & talent strategy, and managing the change journey to deliver sustainable business value. You will act as the architect for enabling our clients' end-to-end value journey by leveraging your well-honed service-mindedness, strategic thinking, and analytical business-decision making experience.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates knowledge and capabilities of the business strategy field in core and enterprise-wide business issues from achieving rapid growth to defining a path to cost leadership, with thorough consulting knowledge acquired at large, global, complex organizations, and/or successful, fast-growing innovators. This individual holds extensive knowledge in one of more of the following specific focus areas: (1) Corporate and Business Unit Strategy: Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management; (2) Innovation Strategy: Market Entry, Business Design, Growth and Social Strategies; and (3) Digital Transformation.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven ability to:
    • Conduct industry, marketing, competitive and value chain analysis, developing market sizes, ROIs, and business cases
    • Partner with clients and cross-functional teams, including senior management, to understand business challenges and translate these to business requirements -- with limited supervision
    • Assess, confirm, and monitor client expectations and client satisfaction
    • Lead small to medium teams by example to achieve project goals and complete major deliverables
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to and/or for all levels of audiences: clients and internal team members, especially using Powerpoint
    • Analyzing customer economics, process and/or capability gap analysis, customer segmentation schemas and their application, especially using Excel
  • Active listening skills, service-mindedness, and strong personal leadership that inspire the rest of the team, foster productive teamwork, and help develop team members throughout the course of an engagement
  • Hard working, self-motivated individuals who are comfortable with a healthy dose of ambiguity, complexity, and client travel as high as 50%
