Manager - Marketing Consultant

CMG exists to enable complex organizations to realize their market potential by becoming more agile as they focus on growth. We’re seeking a Manager level consultant who will drive strategic planning, solution building and effective delivery for senior marketers and their teams at large enterprises.

This role draws upon personal experiences and mastery in demand generation, customer focus, problem solving and project management.  It requires strong EQ, curiosity and the ability to gain trust from all members of client organizations. These qualities are leveraged in a fast-paced, collaborative setting to develop and deliver client solutions. 

Our ideal candidate will be a hands-on digital marketer with experience understanding customer needs, driving lead management, launching new products and developing and executing marketing campaigns through a variety of traditional and online marketing media. Candidates must also possess the ability to inspire creativity and enthusiasm in others and manage multiple stakeholders and projects.  

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Experience consulting or managing cross-functional teams inside a corporate setting
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • MBA
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma or other relevant certifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a marketing manager and/or agency role with digital omni-channel capabilities
  • Strong project management, with demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conception through to completion
  • Strong client engagement experience and expertise managing cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to apply senior marketers’ lens on initiatives
  • Confidence, poise, proactive outreach and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with all client levels
  • Quick learner and translator of new situations, concepts and frameworks to be effective and efficient
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing channels and analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience in managing programs for SEO/SEM, Adwords, Google Analytics, CRM software and marketing automation software
  • Advanced messaging/story development and slide design abilities
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

This role will be based in one of CMG’s locations:  Georgetown – Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA or Durham, NC, with 50%+ ability to travel.
