Organizational Growth and Change Manager (Consultant)

Our Performance Practice Area - with its proprietary Agile for Marketing (A4M) product and suite of solutions - helps clients design and implement the critical cultural, management, and operational changes required to deliver on evolving customer needs.

In this consulting role, you will be a core member of our Performance Practice team responsible for driving projects at Fortune 500 clients and collaborating internally to mature the Practice intellectual capital, team, and client offerings in meaningful and profitable ways. In this Practice, our team focuses on a variety of projects, which include helping clients' marketing organizations address growing complexity or transform and embrace new ways of working.

This role requires a consultative approach coupled with subject matter expertise across organization design, process transformation, facilitation / training, and change management methodologies. It demands exceptionally strong EQ, curiosity, and the ability to gain trust from all members of client organizations. The ideal candidate will have strong ties to and experience in marketing with a deep analytical skill-set and understanding of challenges faced by large marketing organizations. Experience in campaign development, marketing strategy, digital, and channel marketing are highly desirable.  


  • 8+ years within a high-caliber marketing team and/or consulting experience from top-tier firm 
  • Experience managing large-scale projects in support of organizational change efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
  • Familiarity with professional services companies and business models
  • Proven excellence with project coordination / management and group facilitation
  • Advanced skills in creating MS PowerPoint presentations; documentation in MS Word; basic Excel skills


  • Able to translate business objectives and identified problems into pragmatic project efforts
  • Able to organize and assess disparate inputs; develop frameworks to test hypotheses and evaluate ideas
  • Strong change management capabilities
  • Strong organization, communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful outcomes
  • Experience in marketing functions and decision analytics/insights
  • High level of initiative, resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Consistent attention to detail, analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, proven work ethic
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and iterative process
  • Able to work collaboratively in virtual teams and face-paced, matrixed environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of organization and across multiple functions
  • Receptive to feedback and motivated to quickly learn new topics and skills
  • Empathy towards others, patience, persistence and ability to lead by influence vs. direct authority

This role will preferably be based in CMG's Georgetown – Washington, DC, office with 50%+ ability to travel.
